Our client, a global data centre, is hiring for their Regional Sales Director. You will be leading and managing the sales effort focused on existing and potential clients in Asia-Pacific and Europe. This is an individual contributor role that would participate in strategic decisions in the business, reporting to the headquarters’ office based in Europe. The Regional Sales Director could be based in either Singapore or Hong Kong.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth, cultivate key customer relationships, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Taking lead in on all stages of the sales process for opportunities, including completion of RFIs, RFPs, bespoke customer presentations, tours, commercial negotiations, and contract executions.
  • To ensure contracts are delivered in collaboration with internal teams, including solution engineering, legal,operations and customer success, to ensure alignment.
  • To negotiate and conclude terms with existing and prospective customers, ensuring all internal due diligence and authorisation procedures are followed from the initial enquiry stage through customer presentations, proposals, final negotiations and closing of the contract.
  • Work with the Commercial team to ensure that accurate business forecasts are delivered in the annual budget process, and appropriate commercial risks are managed effectively throughout the whole customer contract lifecycle.
  • Providing sales input to each site’s sales plan and budget.


Requirements:

  • Proven centre sales experience which demonstrates leading complex commercial and legal negotiations, over an extended period
  • Experienced at bid management and closure of deals in line with targets.
  • Demonstrable senior level customer facing experience which combines both commercial and an understanding of engineering aspects.
  • Has the technical ability to discuss technical requirements directly with customers
  • Proven track record of operating on a global basis.
  • Experience selling Data Centre leasing.
