The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy is looking for a Research Assistant who will assist with ongoing projects on public policy, particularly behavioural public policy that draws insights from behavioural economics and psychology. Responsibilities could include (but not limited to):
Scoping and collating literature reviews
Supporting grant applications and administration
Assisting with the preparation and submission of human subject ethics protocols
Preparing questionnaires/survey instruments
Collecting, cleaning, formatting and analysing primary/secondary data
Assisting with the editing and preparation of documentation and manuscripts relating to related projects
Assisting with events associated with research projects, such as planning and hosting conferences and workshops
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences
Excellent spoken and written English
Keen interest in behavioural public policy
Commitment to meeting deadlines
Independent, enthusiastic and attentive to details
Familiarity with statistical software, such as R, SPSS, Stata or data visualization software such as Tableau
Prior experience in a research role will be preferred
