As an Employee Benefits Specialist, your primary focus will be to support the HOD by preparing detailed reports, assisting in the rollout of new projects, and ensuring seamless communication across teams and vendors.


Key Responsibilities


Reporting & Analysis: Compile and analyse data on benefits utilization, costs, and employee feedback. Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for the HOD to inform decision-making and strategic planning.


Project Support: Assist in the implementation of new benefits programs and initiatives. Coordinate timelines, resources, and communication to ensure successful project rollouts.


Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external benefits providers to resolve issues, negotiate terms, and ensure the delivery of services aligns with company expectations.


Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline benefits administration processes. Propose and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.


Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and claims. Prepare regular reports on policy status, renewals, and claims for internal stakeholders.​


Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as underwriting, claims, and sales, to ensure seamless service delivery and address any operational challenges.​



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Working experience and understanding of group insurance portfolio either from insurance or broker capacity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
