Lecturer for Hospitality Management

This role is offered on a Full-time basis.

As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering and designing the module and taking on the following responsibilities:


• Deliver engaging and dynamic lectures, both face-to-face and online, for our on-campus and distance learning students.

• Take on module leadership, ensuring consistent quality and development of learning materials and schemes of work.

• Oversee assessment marking, create authentic assessments, and provide high-quality feedback.

• Support the creation of new programmes and refresh existing ones to align with industry trends and employer requirements.

• Collaborate with colleagues to provide academic advice and support to students.

• Drive innovation in teaching methods, student support, and assessment.


About You:


To be successful as a Lecturer in Hospitality and Tourism, you must have:

Essential requirements:

  • Bachelor's and MSc or equivalent qualification in Hospitality and Tourism or Business Management related field, and/or substantial industry experience.
  • ACLP, Teaching certificate (PGCE), or willing to achieve within 12 months.
  • You will be experienced in current and effective teaching, learning, and assessment practices in higher education, and be able to bring your knowledge and understanding to LSBF to enhance our programmes and deliver excellent student outcomes.
  • The ideal candidate will be student-focused and committed to ensuring that learners have an outstanding experience.
  • You will be able to evidence your successful experience of working in programme teams and of being a creative and inspiring lecturer and colleague.
