Part Time Coding Educator (Primary)

Lyza Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Part Time Coding Educator (Primary) to teach coding lessons. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and nurturing students through effective teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lessons for students aged from 5 to 9
• Create and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students
• Establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferably in computer science, engineering, mathematics or science). Fresh grads are welcome to apply
• Eager to learn and experiment with new ideas
• Possesses excellent communication skills and loves teaching children.
• Meticulous and able to work independently
• Good interpersonal skills and good team player
• Candidates who have experience working with young children is a plus
• Knowledge of Scratch Junior, Scratch, Microbit (in Scratch and Makecode Platforms) and Python is a plus.
• Candidates without any experience who meet the above criteria and possess keen interest are also welcome to apply.
• Training would be provided.
