Job Summary
Join one of the most dynamic Communications teams in Singapore and immerse yourself in the thick of action at the iconic Marina Bay Sands. We are looking for team players who are motivated and hungry to learn within a fast-paced and dynamic working environment. The intern will support the team’s public relations strategy, and stand to gain hands-on experience in the planning and execution of media and KOL activities, press fam trips, and red carpet events. This internship promises a rewarding and fulfilling experience, and will provide a valuable preview of an exciting career in Communications.
Job Responsibilities
Daily media monitoring across all print and online platforms
Generate and maintain PR reports
Assist in drafting press releases and media invites
Update online media centre/image library and media lists
Assist in planning and supporting of media events
Conduct media tours and assist in media activities on property
Assist with logistics including rooming/transport/budgeting during media familiarization trips
Facilitate filming and photoshoots on property
Assist with logistics/prep work during quarterly volunteerism events
Manage a mini project during the course of the internship
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student
Internship must contribute to school graduation requirements
Experience
No experience required as training will be provided
Other Prerequisites
Good written and spoken English, fluency in any additional language is an added bonus
Pays attention to details and can cope with handling multiple projects/tasks
Collaborative team player who takes initiative to assist other Team Members when required
Commitment of minimally six months for this internship role
Attention to detail and a high motivation to learn
