Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Specialist to join our team at Math Note Tuition Centre. This role involves guiding and inspiring students in their mathematics journey, fostering a love for the subject, and helping them achieve their academic goals.

This is a part-time, permanent position, and we are seeking a teacher who can commit for the long term. Kindly apply only if you are able to commit for at least one year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct math tuition classes for primary and secondary students in a structured and engaging manner.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans based on the students' levels and syllabus requirements.
• Provide individualized attention to address each student’s unique learning needs.
• Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas for improvement.
• Communicate effectively with parents to provide updates and feedback.
• Contribute to the preparation of teaching materials and resources.

Requirements:

• Completed A-levels or the IP/IB program with good mathematics results.
• Strong passion and interest in teaching mathematics.
• Responsible, reliable, and committed to the role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, approachable, and able to work well with students of different learning abilities.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.

Schedule:
This is a part-time position requiring a commitment to specific class timings. Flexibility for additional preparation or occasional adjustments may be needed.

Pay: $200 - $1,200 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
