Job Posting for Mechanical Engineer - Industrial PLC Design at Matrix Process Automation
We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical design and development of our industrial PLC products. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for industrial PLC products.
Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX).
Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses (e.g., FMEA, DFM, thermal analysis) to ensure product performance and reliability.
Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., UL, CE, RoHS/REACH) with support from the approval department.
Manage BOM creation and maintenance within the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in the industrial automation or electronics industry.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, AutoCAD).
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes (e.g., plastic molding, metal injection molding, sheet metal fabrication).
Experience with thermal management, vibration analysis, and structural integrity of electronic enclosures.
Knowledge of optics and special plastic molding techniques (e.g., overmolding, ultrasonic welding) is a plus
