Internship Period:
Full-time for the 2nd half of 2025 (June to December 2025).
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain valuable exposure to the financial markets while contributing to various key processes that support our Prime business and risk management functions.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assist the team to assess equity/ bond counters and assign initial margin rates as part of the Prime business offering to clients.
Assist the team to assess equity/ bond counters and assign share margin financing rates to clients.
Assist the team to assess counterparties and clients’ credit profile and propose credit limits to Credit Underwriting Committee.
Monitor clients portfolio and issue daily margin calls to clients.
Perform stress tests on CFD / share margining portfolio and highlight any VaR / limit breach
Improve the reporting and monitoring process flow to ensure that risk information is transparent and useful to end users (Management and Board).
Other duties may include ad-hoc analysis and review of equities and/or other financial instruments, assist in preparing of information for management committees and other forums, and assisting the team in implementing any projects and initiatives that may be assigned.
Requirements
Degree in finance or finance related subject, preferably with a quantitative background
Proficiency in VBA is an added advantage.
Analytical and meticulous.
Able to commit to a 5-6 months internship from end June to December 2025
