AVP/VP, Credit Audit

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking for a strong auditor who is well versed with regulatory requirements (i.e. MAS637 on risk-based capital adequacy and IFRS9 which include independent review of credit risk models and credit stress testing).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Conduct internal audit activities effectively in accordance with established Group Audit methodology and regulatory requirements with benchmark to industry standards.
2.Independently lead and execute audits effectively in audit planning, audit fieldwork, delivery of audit findings & recommendations, audit reporting and post-audit report issuance follow-ups.
3.The scope of audits to be performed cover a wide range of MAS regulatory requirements across the spectrum of MAS637-Pillar I, II & III and other applicable regulatory requirements (IFRS9).
4.The auditor is also expected to be a continuous insights generator with a good perspective of how emerging risks are addressed on an ongoing basis outside routine-based audits.
5.The auditor should possess good hands-on experience with data analytic tools to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify material areas of concern.
6.The auditor should also able to provide advisory/strategic contributions and support to be in-line with Group Audit's annual audit plan and long-term initiatives for sustainable growth.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
1.Possess Bachelor degree in mathematics/statistics (quantitative modelling) with 12-15 years of good and relevant experience in international/local financial institutions.
2.Additional relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage (e.g. CIA, FRM).
3.Strong written, communication and leadership skills with a good ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels effectively.
4.Strong knowledge of applicable MAS Notices & Guidelines (MAS637), IFRS9 and other applicable regulatory standards/requirements.
5.Strong knowledge of risk governance, risk identification, measurement and assessment in respect of MAS637 and IFRS9 areas.
6.Highly detailed-oriented, self-disciplined and self-motivated professional with a passion for excellence and success for the Organisation.
7.Good familiarity with data analytics and statistical programming skills.
