We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Head with deep expertise in credit documentation and a strong track record of leading transformation and change initiatives. In this role, you will oversee a high-performing team responsible for end-to-end credit documentation processes while driving modernization, standardization, and operational excellence across functions. You will play a key role in reshaping the credit documentation landscape to align with evolving regulatory and industry requirements, business strategy, and technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & Team Management
Lead, coach, and develop a team of credit documentation specialists, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
• Credit Documentation Oversight
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of credit documentation across various products (loans, trade finance, etc.).
Collaborate with legal, risk, business units, operations, and external parties (e.g., law firms and valuers) to ensure timely execution and processing of documents.
• Transformation & Change Leadership
Design and implement transformation strategies focused on process optimization, digital enablement, and risk mitigation.
Lead system migrations, workflow enhancements, and documentation standardization and digitalization initiatives.
Act as a change agent, guiding teams through periods of change with clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Process Governance, Risk Management, and Stakeholder Engagement
Establish and enforce best-in-class documentation standards and controls to reduce operational and credit risk.
Monitor KPIs and risk indicators, and implement corrective actions where needed.
Represent the team in governance forums, audits, and regulatory reviews.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
Preferably 8–15 years of experience in credit documentation within a financial services or banking environment.
Proven experience managing teams and leading organizational change or transformation projects.
Strong understanding of credit products, legal documentation, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficient in documentation systems, workflow tools, and data analytics.
