JOB ROLE – FREELANCE CURRENT AFFAIRS ASSISTANT PRODUCERS
Research on current topics assigned by Producer
Secure and recce all filming locations for the Programme
Plan and organise production logistics, including but not limited to scheduling, acquiring cast, hiring crew, booking transcribers and renting equipment
Work with the Producer to schedule all necessary interviews with profiles/ interviewees for the assigned episodes of the Programme
Secure and / or purchase props for shoots, provided that Mediacorp's approval shall be obtained prior to the purchasing of any such props
Source for archives and B-rolls for selected episodes of the Programme, based on requirements specified by the Producers of the Programme
Secure all necessary rights for the use of footage or materials owned by third parties
Obtain all necessary consents and permissions for the filming of the Programme at the filming locations approved by Mediacorp and the use of location logos in Programme credits
Manage the data wrangling of the Programme, including but not limited to the transfer of footage and planning and transcribing
Assist the team on location for production heavy shoots
Archiving of footage post production
Any other ad-hoc duties
ABOUT YOU
Minimum 1-2 years experience in Media Production
Or fresh grads from Film schools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good at multitasking, resourceful, team player
Able to start immediately
Able to work on weekends when necessary
Renewable to 12 months contract.
Renumeration range base on relevant work experience
