Senior Regional Supply Chain Analyst (Demand Planning)

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is primarily responsible for developing, implementing and supporting demand planning processes and systems, providing user support for supply chain systems as a key user and responsible for review and governance of related KPI reporting for the Asia Pacific region. The role will have a focus on demand planning.

Additionally, the Senior Regional Supply Chain Analyst will support the Senior Regional Supply Chain Excellence Manager as a project officer in the execution of key supply chain continuous improvement initiatives and projects related to processes and systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and/or participate in key projects as a project management officer, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and with all APAC countries to provide analysis, identify gaps and recommend solutions as well as performing project management administrative tasks of tracking project timelines and preparing management reporting.
• Develop and implement ways-of-working and facilitate activities for regular supply chain demand planning processes and systems and managing the related audit documentation.
• Providing training and support to the APAC region as a Super-User, managing error logs and resolving user issues.
• Ensuring compliance to procedures across the region and standardise ways of working in line with best practices.
• Facilitate demand planning processes for the APAC countries including minimally the following:

-Maintain statistical forecasting models to accurately predict product demand for demand

planning discussions with countries.

-Analyze data to identify opportunities for making recommendations to improve business

outcomes.

-Facilitate with Commercial Team to incorporate (and challenge) assumptions, Sales Forecasts,

and Market Intelligence into demand forecast and documenting relevant assumptions,

Opportunities and Vulnerabilities. Leveraging segmentation and exception-based logic to

prioritize forecast reviews.

-Participate in the development and implementation of inventory management strategies.

-Drive the needed change management to adopt best practices for forecasting across the

region.

• Support additional digital transformation projects in Supply Chain and across the wider business.
• Review and governance of selected KPI reporting for all APAC countries to drive root causes and continuous improvement.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Business/Logistics/Operations Management, APICS certification and/or knowledge strongly preferred
• 5 years minimum experience in supply chain, Pharmaceutical industry experience is an advantage
• Advanced Excel, Visual Basic, Power BI, Power Query
• Good knowledge and strong experience in supply chain software (ERP, master data systems, supply chain planning systems). Experience of FuturMaster a plus.
• Project management experience or experience in continuous improvement is desired
