Preschool Chinese Language Teacher (Bedok)

We adopt play-based, inquiry- and project-based learning approach based on age-appropriateness and learning is made more fun and effective with the use of education technology.

Job Responsibilities

• You will be the co-teacher of a level or class (with the Form/English language teacher) and will conduct the chinese language curriculum.
• You will prepareand implement the curriculum to achieve the centre's goals and educational outcome.
• Provide a positive learning environment
• Prepare materials and set up the classroom learning centres
• Ensure children’s well-being and safety
• Monitor, evaluate and document children’s learning and development progress
• Participate in continuous professional development to serve children and families better
• Engage children meaningfully in continuous learning and reflective practice.
• Build effective and healthy partnership with team members, families and the community through effective, respectful relationships and open communication.

Requirements

• Early Childhood Cert Qualifications - WSQ Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education-Teaching (Chinese), WSQ Advanced Certificate in Early Years (Chinese)
• Full-time
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Motivated, creative, love for children and keen to learn
• Beginner Teachers are welcomed
