The MOHH Tech Office plays a key role in strengthening digital transformation and strategic tech initiatives that reinforce service and data management, drive process automation, enhance inter-operability between different platforms, and maintain cybersecurity and compliance in MOHH.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Manager of Strategic Planning in Tech Office is responsible to co-drive the strategy development with CIO and plays a crucial role in tech operations by ensuring the execution of the strategic plan and achievement of the business outcomes of Tech Office for the financial year. Reporting directly to the CIO, the incumbent will have the opportunity to work with senior leaders in the Tech Office to develop the Tech Office strategy, tech and transformation roadmap in support of MOHH business objectives and drive the day-to-day operations and delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tech Strategy Development

• Co-drive the mid- and long-term strategic plan for MOHH Tech Office that includes the development of tech architecture and roadmap, tech goals and KPIs in support of MOHH business goals.
• Co-drive strategic and transformation projects of Tech Office for MOHH business units.
• Drive continuous improvement of Tech Office business processes working alongside with MOHH corporate functions and Synapxe business process owners.
• Co-drive the development of the Annual Work Plan together with CIO and develop annual strategy and budget for Tech Office.

Tech Operations

• Develop the Tech Office Management and Operations Dashboard to track the progress and risk exposure.
• Drive cadence for Tech Office Leadership weekly, CIO Office, Transformation Office and Infrastructure team regular review sessions.
• Drive the regular Management and Board reporting process, including putting together the content for Tech Office (e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews, MOHH IDSC, MOHH Board Monthly Update).
• Lead problem solving sessions in operations.
• Support tech and security governance to manage tech risk together with the MOHH CISO and his team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Recognized bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business

Experience

• At least 7 years’ experience in Consulting OR working in a strategy or business strategic planning functions of large organizations related to tech.
• Experience in management and board level reporting preferred with an appreciation of tech architecture and roadmap.

Qualities

• Possess excellent business acumen and analytical abilities.
• Strategic thinking, self-starter, results-oriented.
• Team player and good people engagement skills.
