Summary
You will be working with our client who specialises in the healthcare and technology space.
Responsibilities
Lead the assessment of operational compliance activities in response to new policies, governance, or changes in the operating environment mandated by the organization.
Conduct regular checks and validations of operational processes to ensure adherence to published and approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Streamline operational compliance practices across all internal systems and components, and recommend changes for consistent practices.
Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for corporate-wide initiatives, providing responses and managing timelines.
Keep the department informed about changes in operating SOPs due to new policies, governance, or operating environment changes, ensuring staff awareness and compliance.
Collaborate with project and operations teams on remediation plans for non-compliance issues (e.g., self-attestation, EOS, VA), tracking progress and providing updates until resolution.
Work with responsible application teams to report deviations and propose mitigation actions for any non-compliance matters.
Coordinate with and present to relevant internal and affilated committees to seek endorsement for non-compliance items.
Participate in audit reviews, under the leadership of Dataops, to provide clarifications to auditors' operations-related queries.
Validate and assess the feasibility of proposed management response recommendations from an operations perspective, and suggest alternative mitigation measures if necessary.
Manage audit remediation actions resulting from audit findings and follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion.
Regularly validate existing compliance processes to ensure relevance and eliminate unnecessary steps or duplication of work due to the evolving IT operating environment.
Enhance and automate operational/compliance processes wherever possible to optimize resources and achieve cost savings.
Recommend new technologies, methodologies, systems, or opportunities for cost savings, security, and service quality improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
A minimum of 10 years of work experience in system operations compliance and management.
Experience with IT audits and familiarity with operating standards such as ISO and ITSM.
In-depth understanding of data warehouse concepts, data profiling, data verification, and advanced analytics techniques.
Experience managing a team in project implementation or support.
Hands-on experience with technologies like Informatica IDMC, Databricks, and BI tools (Tableau, Sagemaker).
Cloud certifications: AWS preferred
Certification in IT operation management (preferred).
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Exposure to hospital information or clinical systems is an added advantage.
