Job Posting for KYC Analyst (PBWM) at Morgan McKinley
Morgan McKinley is currently hiring for a KYC Analyst for a 6-months contract role with our multinational private banking client - highly renewable/extendable!
Key Responsibilities:
KYC and Due Diligence
Conduct comprehensive KYC due diligence for both individual and corporate clients.
Review and verify client documentation, including identification, address proof, corporate records, trust deeds, and source of wealth.
Perform background checks using internal systems and external databases.
Identify and escalate potential risks, such as PEP status, sanctions exposure, or adverse media.
New Client Onboarding Support
Serve as the primary liaison for Relationship Managers during the onboarding process.
Advise front office teams on KYC requirements to ensure complete and accurate documentation.
Ensure client onboarding is completed in a timely manner and in line with internal SLAs.
Data Entry and System Management:
Accurately enter and update client information in internal systems such as Avaloq and CRM tools.
Maintain updated KYC profiles and risk ratings throughout the onboarding process.
Risk and Compliance Control:
Ensure all onboarding activities comply with AML regulations, FATCA/CRS standards, sanctions rules, and internal policies.
Support internal and external audits, as well as periodic quality assurance reviews.
Maintain detailed records and documentation to support audit trails.
Process Improvement
Suggest enhancements to the onboarding process to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
Contribute to projects involving process optimization or regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
With 3–6 years of relevant experience in KYC/AML, ideally within private banking or wealth management.
Experience with onboarding high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients is a plus.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up abilities.
Able to work independently and handle high volumes under tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with banking platforms and screening tools is preferred.
