Job Duration: 12-Month Contract with Potential for Extension or conversion!

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension or a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and review underwriting guidelines to align with the Company’s risk appetite.
• Provide authority delegation and portfolio monitoring recommendations.
• Approve new products and referrals.
• Enhance treaty and facultative reinsurance strategies.
• Deliver technical training to staff.
• Develop underwriting tools and resources.

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree in Business or related discipline.
• Professional insurance qualifications.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial and personal lines underwriting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer focus, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
