Assistant/ Research Officer (Urban Entomology Section)

[What you will be working on]

You will work in the EHI and be part of a multi-disciplinary team that will focus on urban vector species in Singapore. You will have the opportunity to work with various inter-disciplinary teams. You will be involved in a myriad of entomology activities including, but not limited to performing routine mosquito identification, sample processing, rapid antigen testing, data entry, mosquito surveillance and field studies.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Life Sciences or related disciplines
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Able to systematically perform routine workflow with an eye for detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Physically fit and possess the physical endurance for the challenges of field work
