A day in the life of...
Channel Strategy Development: Formulate and implement strategies for channel responsible to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within the channel to ensure customer satisfaction
Execution of Channel Plans: Translating strategic plans into actionable execution steps. This involves overseeing the implementation of promotional activities, sales initiatives, and operational processes within the channel responsible
Sales and Performance Analysis: Monitoring sales performance for channel responsible, analyzing data to identify trends, and making informed decisions to drive improvements.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Working closely with marketing, other sales channels, supply chain and finance teams to align channel strategies with overall business objectives
Budget Management: Managing budgets related to channel activities, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve sales targets.
Training and Support: Providing training and support to internal sales teams
Market Research: Conducting market research to understand competitive landscape and customer needs, which informs channel strategies and product offerings.
Reporting: Preparing and presenting reports on channel performance, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
What Will Make You Successful...
Category product and channel management knowledge within the fmcg industry
8 years commercial experience as demonstrated by channel or distributor management experience
Business experience within sales, marketing, trade marketing or commercial functions
Demonstrated business planning & implementation skills (Project Management)
Financial implication and awareness (P&L statement, supply chain reports etc)
