Trading Application Support Analyst - Global Investment Bank (Singapore)

Our client, one of the leading & global investment banks, are now keen to meet with & hire a Trading Application Support Analyst to join their team in Singapore.

This is an exciting role suitable for an energetic and switched-on candidate, early in their career that is keen to join a growing application support team that strives to provide top-class support for front-office traders & users across Asia, as well as ensuring smooth IT operations and continuous improvement of the bank's electronic trading systems.

The Role:

• Join a dynamic team supporting the bank's Rates Trading Platform.
• Follow the sun production support for the trading platform, including incident and problem management for critical issues.
• Monitor application performance and ensure high availability (target uptime 99.9%) during Asia-Pacific hours, supporting global users in a "Follow the Sun" operational model.
• Work closely and collaborate with the front-office, traders, sales, research, and IT teams (business analysts, developers, project managers) to resolve technical and functional issues.
• Shift rotations including early mornings, bank holidays, and occasional weekends for system maintenance and release validation.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge bases to support effective handovers and training across regional teams.
• Participate in release cycles, functional testing, and coordinate deployments ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Drive continuous improvement by automating support processes and reducing manual interventions.
• Support multi-asset pricing tools used across various business lines, including FX and credit trading applications.

What You Offer:

• Between 2-3 years' technical support experience covering electronic trading platforms at a Financial Insitution (preferably Rates or Fixed Income markets, not a must).
• Good understanding of trading workflows, market access, and pricing engines.
• Proven ability to manage high-priority incidents and work & coordinate between cross-functional teams in a high pressure environment.
• Familiarity with global financial markets infrastructure and vendor platforms is a plus.
• Excellent attitude, keen & eager to learn, and a can-do attitude is most important.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Liaise effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree from a reputable University in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Flexibility to work in a shift-based environment supporting a global "Follow the Sun" model.
