We are working with an EduTech company, and as part of their continued growth, NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Mobile Engineer to join their Singapore team.

Role Overview
We are seeking Mobile Engineers to enhance our mobile applications, used by millions worldwide, with a mission to inspire curiosity, creativity, and community in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Build new app features, such as a voice recorder with audio effects.
• Performance Optimization: Improve app reliability and speed, e.g., handling spotty internet connections better.
• Workflow Improvements: Enhance internationalization pipelines for supporting 40 languages.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to write clean, effective code.
• Familiarity with problem-solving tools (e.g., Stack Overflow).
• Bonus: A sense of humor.

Tech Stack

• Mobile: React Native, Swift, Java.
• Backend: Ruby (Rails), Typescript, Elixir (Phoenix), Python.
• Web: VueJS, Tailwind.
• Databases: Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, Firestore, Snowflake.

Engineering Environment

• Minimal meetings; focus on flow.
• Solving complex concurrency, internationalization, and scaling challenges.
