The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), which is under the College of Engineering, aspires to be a leading school for Sustainable Urban Systems. Currently, it has over 50 faculty members and more than 1,500 students, and is rapidly expanding its range of educational and research activities. The School offers the following three programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Maritime Studies. The faculty in the School has led major university-wide strategic research thrusts in space creation, water research and sustainable built environment. Going forward, we would like to strengthen our research and education capabilities in the areas related to maritime studies.

Applicants should have a PhD degree in Civil Engineering or relevant disciplines. Suitable candidates must demonstrate relevant industrial experience, research and teaching ability, and strong communication skills.
