Research Associate/Project Officer

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Associate or Project Officer.

The Research Associate or Project Officer will take on a significant role in polymer chemistry with focus on the following research themes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Synthesis of biomass-polymer composites.
• Creation of advanced polymer materials using biomass-polymer composites

Job Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in the field of chemistry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good synthetic experimental skills for radical polymerization.
• Good knowledge of synthetic polymer chemistry.
• Good writing skills for reports and publication in academic journals.
