AI Analyst and Developer Intern

This internship offers a unique blend of business analysis and data science exploration within the AI landscape. You'll conduct market research to identify key industry challenges addressable by AI, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to data analysis and development efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market desktop research across diverse industries to identify and articulate key business pain points that AI/ML solutions can potentially address.
  • Research business opportunities and bridge the gap between AI and business for customers.
  • Collaborate with AI Engineers and Analysts to understand the technical requirements and feasibility of proposed AI/ML solutions.
  • Assist in the design and development of functional prototypes and proof-of-concepts for identified AI/ML applications.
  • Experiment with different AI/ML libraries, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), and relevant technologies to implement prototype functionalities.
  • Document the design, development process, and performance of the prototypes, contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or a highly related field is required.
  • A Master’s degree in any of the above disciplines is preferred.
  • Strong foundation in data structure, and machine learning and AI algorithms.
  • Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience building and testing small-scale applications or prototypes (academic projects, personal projects, or contributions to open-source projects are acceptable).
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, along with relevant data science libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques or projects.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to engage in analytical reasoning are essential.
  • A strong drive to continuously learn and adapt to the evolving landscape of AI technologies and methodologies is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $1.00 - $1,200.00 per month
