Trader / Trader Assistant

Role Description

• Work closely with Portfolio Managers and senior Traders, to provide best execution across asset classes – equities, derivatives, FX and Fixed Income etc
• Monitor price movement, risk, liquidity, fund flows and news flow
• Liaise with operations, compliance, and risk department on trading-related needs, and ensure the correctness of trade booking and allocation for multiple accounts
• Analyze market and fund data for Investment teams

Requirements

• Undergraduate or Master’s degree, with a strong mathematical, science or engineering background, knowledge in Financial Market is a plus
• Strong desire to develop knowledge in equities, currencies, and Interest rate instruments across global markets
• The ability to multitask, priorities and organize information is essential. The ideal candidate should be proactive, adaptable, and possess strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Thrive in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with various front and back departments
• Able to work independently with limited supervision. The team will provide training and guidance to develop the individual
