Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Assist WSH Officer to ensure the compliance and continuous improvement of all EHS operations at workplace
• Assist WSH Officer in incident investigation and recommend corrective action to prevent recurrence
• Oversees, implements, coordinates and deliver the EHS programs
• Maintain and control all safety documentation
• Assist in the EHS planning and training incident prevention
• Perform daily workplace inspection and rectify any unsafe practice and condition
• Organize and conduct workplace EHS meeting
• Conduct necessary risk assessment and prepare method statement
• Ensure all lifting gears, appliances, electrical equipment are inspected and records are up to date

Requirements:

• GCE “O” level or equivalent
• WSQ Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B or C)
• Possess Building Construction Safety Supervisor Certificate will be preferred
• Possess Oil/Petrochemical Safety Supervison Certificate will be preferred
• Possess Work-At-Height Supervisor/Assessor certificate will be preferred
• Possess Confirmed Space Assessor will be preferred
• Possess Lifting Supervisor will be preferred
• Possess First Aid and other safety certificates would be an added advantage
• Independent, good interpersonal and organizing skills and a good team player
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing or Construction Industry
• Preferably possess own transportation
• Able to start work immediately will be preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
