Job Posting for Catering Executive at PARIS BAGUETTE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of catering operations, from planning and coordinating events to executing high-quality service and ensuring client satisfaction. You will also be involved in day-to-day operations and ensure to cover all aspects of the clientele.
Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning & Coordination
Assist in the planning, organizing, and coordinating of catering events / operations, from initial inquiry to execution.
Work closely with your manager to assist clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets, providing tailored recommendations. You will be required to tend to customer’s enquiries and work closely with the team to execute the order.
Support the logistics and timelines for events, including menu selections, staffing, and equipment requirements.
2. Operations & Execution
Participate in the setup, service, and breakdown of catering events to ensure seamless execution.
Work with the kitchen and service staff to maintain quality and timeliness of food and beverage service, ensuring the highest level of quality at all times.
Assist in managing on-site staff to deliver excellent service and client satisfaction during events.
3. Inventory & Cost Management
Help in tracking inventory for catering supplies, equipment, and food stock.
Learn the basics of budgeting and cost management, assisting in cost control measures to maximize profitability.
4. Customer Service
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and handling any concerns promptly.
Act as an on-site contact for clients during events, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
5. Training & Development
Attend training sessions to learn about various aspects of catering, including food safety, hospitality standards, and customer service.
Shadowing your manager and participate in hands-on learning opportunities.
You will also be involved in outdoor sales occasionally, learning the ropes from your manager on how to handle corporate accounts.
6. Audit & Safety
The responsibility of ensuring the highest level of safety in the catering kitchen will be given to you. Monthly audit of cleanliness and hygiene will also fall under your responsibilities.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Business Management, F&B Management or its’ equivalent.
Minimum 1-2 years of customer service/sales experience in F&B, Catering, Hospitality or any other related industry.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Excellent communication skills to interact with bother internal and external stakeholders.
Able to be a good team player and yet able to work independently.
Comfortable to work in a kitchen environment (on-site).
