An excellent opportunity for a Java Architect – Financial Applications has just opened at a global finance tech leader driving innovation in capital markets.

Job Purpose:

Develop and support critical financial systems powering global market data and trading operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and support software powering market data and financial trading operations.
• Collaborate with teams to understand needs and deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
• Analyze system issues, implement improvements, and automate recurring support tasks.
• Coordinate deployments, support releases, and improve software delivery processes.
• Ensure high quality and testable code aligned with standards and business needs.

Job Requirements:

• 12 years’ experience in software development, including advanced Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience in REST APIs, cloud technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on with SQL, Git, CI/CD tools, and front-end (Angular/React) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, system performance, and debugging.
• Banking or finance tech experience with great communication and problem-solving skills.

The successful Java Architect – Financial Applications must possess a strong foundation in Java, cloud technologies, and financial systems, with the ability to work across full-stack environments and support production systems.
