What You Will Do

• Provide technical support to achieve engineering and quality excellence.
• Work on engine overhaul workscope under the Fleet management Program (FMP).
• Review and provide engine workscope instructions to the shop, complying with engineering data during the engine shop visit.
• Perform review of Modification Service Bulletin (SB) and provide timely information to the shop when applicable.
• Analyze out-of-manual conditions and provide engineering solutions in relation to engine part repair and overhaul processes.
• Liaise and coordinate with engine OEM, airline customers and aviation authorities for engine condition documentation and reporting
• Liaise with the OEM and subcontractors on engine investigation and repair processes.
• Work proactively in addressing potential issues and apply real-time problem-solving skills when working towards resolution.
• Communicate with customers on out-of-manual repair approval through eCARS system
• Propose creative engineering solution to reduce engine turnaround time and shop visit cost.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects to bring change to the department and company
• Assist the Engineering Management in special projects

Qualifications You Must Have

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in aerospace MRO setting is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to interpret technical data, drawings and engine manuals (SB, SPM, EM and CIR).
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Words, Excel, Projects, and Power Point).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
• Ability to think and process information in the macro and micro level.
• Highly motivated and innovative individual who is meticulous

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experienced in leading aero-engine troubleshooting and investigation is preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with FAI process is preferred.
• Working knowledge in SAP & Solumina
• Versatile worker who can work well in a team setting and independently.
