Job Posting for Event Manager at Prospect Resourcing
Working closely with the Marketing Director in Hong Kong and the marketing team in New York, focussing on institutional investment marketing, you will play an integral role as a passionate, strategic and experienced events marketing professional. You will create, manage and execute events and sponsorships with a focus on delivering brand activation, enhancing event attendee experience, and driving engagement to strengthen client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of high-level client facing events and sponsorship activation for participants ranging from 10-4000 people.
Key responsibilities include:
Event strategy, planning and delivery for both in-person and virtual events
Ability to lead and support event team peers on event programs
Conceptualize and develop strategic event initiatives, ensuring measurable objectives and clear KPIs are set that align with business objectives
Proactively report on event updates, ROI and demonstrate impact through business results
Partner with business partners, content and product marketing, social media, comms, brand and design, and digital marketing teams for cohesive and strategic event management and activation
What you must have to be successful in this role:
Fluency in English and Verbal Mandarin
5 -7 years of financial service sector event management/conference experience
Strategic and execution skills
Excellent stakeholder management experience
Outstanding project management skills
Creative and proactive constantly coming up with new ideas
A good understanding of event technology and virtual event platforms
Editing and proofreading background
Experience with the following a plus: Salesforce, Adobe, Exact Target, event apps, and virtual event platforms
