Senior SAP Basis Consultant (Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute SAP HANA migrations, installations, and upgrade projects.
• Perform SAP Basis administration, including configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Drive S/4HANA system upgrades and conversions (e.g., from 1909 to 2020).
• Manage the end-to-end migration of SAP systems using export-import methods.
• Work on implementing SAP cloud solutions using AWS services (EC2, S3, Route53, IAM, etc.).
• Design scalable, secure, and performance-optimized solutions based on client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with clients to gather and analyze requirements and define scope.
• Prepare comprehensive solution architecture and technical design documentation.
• Conduct brainstorming sessions and work with cross-functional teams and vendors to build robust SAP solutions.
Stay updated with SAP’s new dimensional products and emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP
• Bachelor of computer science or similar relevant education background.
• SAP Certified BASIS and Migration Consultant.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and SAP BTP.
• Strong experience in SAP System Installations, Migrations, and Upgrades.
• Solid understanding of AWS cloud architecture and services integration with SAP.
• Deep technical knowledge in SAP Basis Administration on multiple OS and DB platforms.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and solution presentation.
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and automation in SAP environments.
Knowledge of SAP landscape transformation and downtime minimization strategies.
