Job Purpose:

Part of RC’s corporate division, the Technology and Administration Operations (“TAO”) department integrates technology with efficient administrative support to enhance service delivery. This includes managing IT services, safeguarding data systems, streamlining digital workflows, and maintaining critical administrative processes for client service excellence.
The Senior Specialist, IT Applications Support will lead the development, implementation, upgrades, and enhancements of RC’s Human Resource Management System (HRMS), ensuring alignment with business needs by working closely with users, stakeholders, and vendors. The role ensures that RC’s application systems are developed, maintained, and supported to deliver efficient and effective services and information.
The postholder will also analyse business processes, evaluate vendor solutions, manage procurement processes, and oversee system implementations. Additionally, they will support the development of enterprise applications, act as a liaison between vendors and users, and provide training to ensure smooth adoption of systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise System Application & Development
- HRMS Project Management: Lead RC’s HRMS development and implementation, upgrades, and enhancements with business users and HRMS vendor(s), ensuring alignment with business needs
- Stakeholder Consultation and Identification of Requirements: Conduct discovery meetings with stakeholders and develop statements of work for HRMS service provider(s)
- Process Mapping and Documentation: Work with users to document user processes, produce data and process flow diagrams, prepare reports and recommendations in order to deliver functional specifications for the HRMS
- HRMS Functional Consultant: Provide expert guidance on Rainbow Centre’s HRMS modules to HR Operations users for Personnel, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Performance & Goals, Learning, and Succession Planning business processes
- HR Domain Expertise and Best Practices: Provide subject matter expertise and best-practice guidance on HRMS-enabled employee lifecycle processes and HR policy operationalisation
- HRMS Specification Development: Synthesise business requirements into HRMS functional requirements and validate HRMS technical requirements with vendor
- Low/No-Code Business Application Development: Design and build low-code/no-code applications and HR self-service portals
- HRMS Deployment: Lead the configuring, testing, and deploying of HRMS core modules (including Personnel, Leave, Benefits, Claims, Payroll), Recruitment, Learning and Talent Management modules
- Systems Integration: Deliver integration of RC HRMS with third-party applications (e.g. payroll providers, benefits systems, time tracking tools)
- User Training: Conduct training sessions, provide training materials, and coordinate third-party training for HR teams and business users
Application System Maintenance
- Application Maintenance: Ensure that Rainbow Centre application systems are maintained to the highest possible standard with maximum levels of attainable productivity and efficiency
- Application Change Management: Manage application configuration, change requests and resolve complex application problems, in conjunction with the users and external application or service suppliers where necessary
- Application Project Management: Manage ICT application projects and assist users to run their application projects, providing technical input where required
- Application Support: Develop procedures and documentation for end users
- Application UI Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain application user interface, data exports and imports, and ensure their smooth running where required
- System Management: System configuration, scripting and new user administration as required
Data Analysis
- Reporting: Analyse data from systems and produce technical and business reports for consumption by department managers
- HRMS Data Management: Manage HRMS data quality proactively for timely data-driven decision-making
- Employee Lifecycle Analysis: Conduct periodic analysis of employee lifecycle processes in order to identify business process improvement opportunities and innovations for a thriving employee culture
- Data Analytics: Prepare exploratory and expository data analysis to management team for decision-making on RC’s People Analytics.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field with more than 8 years of experience in HR Technology implementation, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience focused on implementation, support, configuration, optimisation, testing and troubleshooting of SAP SuccessFactors
- Prior experience in delivering SAP SuccessFactors, Workday or Oracle HCM projects is advantageous
- Strong experience in HRMS Core services (e.g. SAP Sucess Factors Employee Central) and at least two other HRMS modules (e.g. Recruiting, Learning, Analytics & Reporting, Performance & Goals)
