Head Chef (Chinese Cuisine)
Location: Downtown ๐ต Line
Salary:Up to $5000
Working Hrs: 10am to 10pm with 2hrs break in between
Job Description:
โ๏ธ Oversee the entire kitchen/operations
โ๏ธ Must be proficient in Chinese cuisine
โ๏ธ Control and guide the food preparation process, ensuring all food quality meets company standards. Revise SOPs as needed.
โ๏ธ Analyze customer feedback to improve food quality
โ๏ธ Supervise and ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards
โ๏ธ Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff
โ๏ธ Create new seasonal dishes and menus
โ๏ธ Monitor inventory levels
โ๏ธ Maintain food cost profitability
โ๏ธ Efficient workforce planning and scheduling
**Requirements:**
๐ธ Minimum 5 years of cooking experience in Chinese restaurants and 3 years of management experience
๐ธ Ability to communicate with stakeholders in English and Mandarin
๐ธ Extensive food knowledge and creative menu planning skills
๐ธ Excellent communication and management abilities
๐ธ Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills, with the leadership ability to guide the team through various challenges
๐ธ Neat and professional appearance
๐ธ Ability to work under pressure
๐ธ Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
๐ธ Ability to work in rotating shifts
