HEAD CHEF

Head Chef (Chinese Cuisine)

Location: Downtown 🔵 Line

Salary:Up to $5000

Working Hrs: 10am to 10pm with 2hrs break in between

Job Description:

✔️ Oversee the entire kitchen/operations

✔️ Must be proficient in Chinese cuisine

✔️ Control and guide the food preparation process, ensuring all food quality meets company standards. Revise SOPs as needed.

✔️ Analyze customer feedback to improve food quality

✔️ Supervise and ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards

✔️ Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff

✔️ Create new seasonal dishes and menus

✔️ Monitor inventory levels

✔️ Maintain food cost profitability

✔️ Efficient workforce planning and scheduling

**Requirements:**

🔸 Minimum 5 years of cooking experience in Chinese restaurants and 3 years of management experience

🔸 Ability to communicate with stakeholders in English and Mandarin

🔸 Extensive food knowledge and creative menu planning skills

🔸 Excellent communication and management abilities

🔸 Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills, with the leadership ability to guide the team through various challenges

🔸 Neat and professional appearance

🔸 Ability to work under pressure

🔸 Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays

🔸 Ability to work in rotating shifts
