Mechanical Design Engineer (Water Treatment) / East

Our client is a leader in the Water Treatment industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.

Responsibilities

• Review the process design provided by the proposal/sales team.
• Create detailed designs and P&IDs based on project requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations and equipment sizing.
• Ensure design compliance with customer specifications through thorough review.
• Prepare equipment datasheets (valve lists, equipment lists, piping schedules, instrument lists).
• Supervise and review complex 3D models of equipment skids for specification compliance.
• Oversee the creation of general arrangement, piping detail, and skid structure drawings.
• Work with EIA engineers to prepare project documentation and request price quotations from vendors.
• Assess vendor, fabricator, and subcontractor quotations for compliance.
• Review engineering deliverables from vendors and subcontractors to ensure specification adherence.
• Participate in design reviews, both internal and external.
• Support the testing and commissioning processes and prepare O&M manuals.
• Any ad-hoc duty as given.

Requirement

• Min Degree in Environmental/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering;
• Min 4-year of experience in wastewater treatment or related field
• Experience in the oil and gas industry will be advantage
• Knowledge in designing of complex industrial water treatment systems
• Experience working on multiple projects will be added advantage
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, good report writing skills
