Job Summary

As a Senior Category Manager , you will develop and implement Category Management plans that align with ResMed’s operational and strategic goals, ensuring long-term supplier relationships and supply chain resilience. Your role will involve strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and supplier engagement to drive business success.

Let's Talk About the Role

• Develop & Execute Category Strategies – Work closely with stakeholders to manage category strategy, optimize supplier spend, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Supplier Relationship Management – Build strong supplier partnerships, drive innovation, and ensure risk mitigation to prevent supply disruptions.

• Cross-functional Collaboration – Partner with teams across Global Supplier Alliance (GSA) and ResMed to maximize value from the supplier base and support new product introductions (NPI).

• Policy & Process Improvement – Implement procurement policies, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency in sourcing raw materials, utilities, and services.

• Strategic Leadership – Work closely with senior leadership, influencing key business decisions and ensuring compliance with procurement best practices.

• People Management – Lead and develop a team, providing mentorship and driving performance excellence.

• Extensive experience in procurement and category management , ideally in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.

• Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements .

• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills to collaborate with key suppliers and stakeholders.

• Ability to drive change and influence senior leaders in complex business environments.

• A proven leader with experience in team management, performance reviews, and strategic decision-making.
