Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will lead the succesful delivery of interior design and build fit-out projects across commercial, hospitality, retail or institutional sectors. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, subcontractors, client communications, and internal coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of the fit-out process in Singapore.


Key responsibilities:


1. Project Management & Execution

· Plan, execute, and manage interior fit-out projects from contract award through to handover.

· Develop detailed project programmes, resource plans, and budgets; track and report on progress.

· Drive the procurement process in accordance with the project schedule.

Monitor cost control, variations, and project cash flow in collaboration with the quantity surveyor.


2. Site Coordination

· Work closely with the site team and subcontractors to ensure day-to-day operations align with the programme and quality expectations.

· Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings, identifying issues early and implementing corrective measures.

· Ensure the works are compliant with drawings, specifications, safety and regulatory standards.


3. Stakeholder & Client Communication

· Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

· Maintain strong relationships with consultants, landlords, and statutory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

· Lead client and consultant coordination meetings; document and follow-up on all action items.


4. Internal Collaboration

· Coordinate with internal teams including design, procurement, commercial, and operations to ensure seamless project delivery.

. Contribute to project risk assessments, design reviews, and value engineering processes.


5. Contract Administration

· Understand and manage contractual obligations including correspondence and documentation.

· Oversee the variation process, progress claims, and final account submissions.


6. Quality & Safety Compliance

· Ensure compliance with company quality standards and BCA regulations.

· Collaborate with HSE team to ensure site safety plans are in place and enforced.

· Support audits, inspections, and defect rectifications during construction and DLP phases.


Key requirements:

· Qualification in Construction Management, Architecture, Building, or related field.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in interior fit-out project management.

· Strong knowledge of Singapore construction regulations, BCA submission processes.

· Excellent communication and coordination skills.

· Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams under pressure.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
