TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR

Job Description:

- Oversee and manage all mechanical work related to engineering projects.

- Ensure mechanical tasks are performed efficiently and comply with safety and quality standards.

- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation related to engineering projects.

- Develop work activity schedules and ensure they are followed by the team.

- Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers for work surveys and clarifications.

- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders promptly.

- Supervise and monitor the execution of work on-site.

- Ensure that the work is carried out according to the project plan and specifications.

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

- Assist in the preparation of quotations and budgets based on instructions from superiors.

- Provide accurate cost estimates and ensure financial objectives are met.

- Conduct regular meetings with the work team, customers, and subcontractors to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.

- Implement and maintain 5S practices (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) within the work environment to improve efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

- ITE /Diploma in Mechanical background or a related field.

- Good understanding of mechanical systems and processes.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Good understanding and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Able to work in team.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Ability to work in various environmental conditions. (e.g., construction sites, manufacturing plants).

- Willingness to travel to different project sites as required. (Including Jurong Island)
