ARCHITECTURAL SUPERVISOR

Role Description

The Architectural Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all architectural-related activities on a construction site including interfacing with other trades, ensuring work meets specifications, regulations, and timelines. He/she shall also manage a team of workers, liaise with architects, structural and M&E consultants as necessary, and other stakeholders, and maintain proper project documentation and records.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinating architectural drawings, materials, and work progress with architects, structural engineers, and other team members.
• Supervising a team of construction workers, ensuring adherence to architectural specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate and resolve any interfacing issues between different trades (Structural, Architectural and M&E)
• Conducting site inspections, measurements, and managing the overall workflow on-site.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including daily and weekly reports, shop drawings, and other relevant documents as needed
• Identifying and resolving any issues related to architectural works, collaborating with consultants and subcontractors to find solutions.
• Ensuring adherence to building codes, regulations, and quality standards
• Monitoring project schedules and ensuring works are completed on time.
• Monitoring and maintaining quality control throughout the construction process.
• Assist in submission of materials and mock up for early approval.
• Attend site meetings and coordination meetings as needed

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or Building Architecture from a recognized institution
• Knowledge of Singapore building codes and regulations
• Familiar with BCA CONQUAS and Quality Marks assessment
• Familiar and Compliance to all MOM and WSH Safety aspects in the construction industry
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in construction industry is beneficial
• Working timing to follow project needs
