The firm is seeking a bright, highly motivated and driven Analyst/Associate with an excellent academic background and preferably, previous experience in the real estate sector.
The Company
The company is a well established real estate private equity platform based in Singapore which has real estate products and funds on both ends of the risk-return spectrum. Its investment mandate is Pan Asian, agnostic across asset classes, and has been operating in the region for more than 20 years. What will you do?
This is an all-encompassing role whereby you will be part of the team assisting in investment underwriting, asset management and portfolio management as below:
Participate and assist in the underwriting and due diligence of new investments;
Prepare Investment Committee memorandums and other related presentations to the senior management;
Interact regularly with the local asset managers across the region to monitor the performance of the investment;
Develop and maintain financial models that will be used to formulate asset management plans, including strategic positioning and enhancements;
Participate in portfolio management activities including monitoring and evaluating fund level-performance, preparing quarterly/annual management report packages;
Collaborate with other departments to respond to investor queries relating to the fund.
What do you need to succeed?
At least 5 years of relevant work experience across real estate and/or investment industries on buy or sell side;
A passion for real estate and demonstrated desire to build a career in the industry;
The ability to identify and clearly articulate key real estate and financial drivers and analysis;
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills;
A curious and analytical mind, detailed oriented but also with the big picture in mind;
Numerate, and a strong academic record;
The ability to work autonomously on self-motivated projects, but at the same time work in tandem with and add value to a closely-knit team;
Excellent data management and Excel cash flow modelling skills;
Fluency in English, an additional Asian language is ideal.
