Job Title: Product Specialist
Responsibilities and Authority:
1) Responsible for sales of the Life Science equipment and consumables for the assigned territories like pharma, biotech companies and private industries.
2) Identifying potential clients through research, networking, and various prospecting methods like cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
3) Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients by understanding their needs, providing excellent customer service, and keeping them informed of updates on company and market activities.
4) Provide excellent customer service through product knowledge, handling inquiries, stay informed of market developments and being effective in addressing customers and their needs.
5) Work to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets by closing deals and quotas through effective sales techniques and strategies.
6) Coordinate with the inter-department to ensure fitful client satisfaction and convey customer feedback for improvements.
7) Effectively make use of CRM software to keep detailed records of selling activities, maintain an updated customer database, and report on sales performance to management in a timely fashion.
Competency Requirements:
1) Degree in Life Science, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Science related field
2) Preferably with at least 1-2 years of sales experience in the relevant industries
3) Dynamic, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
4) Team player and hands-on in initiatives and resourceful
