Job Posting for Senior/Commercial Executive (Estimating) at SEATRIUM (SG) PTE. LTD.
Job Responsibilities
Prepares and submits quotations for ship repairs / modifications works
Follow up of vessels from specific market segments / countries
Study ship repair specifications to understand Owner's requirement in order to prepare competitive quotation
Attends ship inspections / discussions with Owner's representative(s) of the work scope in yard, local or overseas when required
Meets and discusses with subcontractors to obtain better prices
Acquires information from the Project Team for any additional works requirement
Follows up with Owners after submission of quotation for the selected vessels
Entertains Owners / Superintendents when they are in yard
Attends sales discussions, tender clarifications for sales follow up
Makes sales calls on specific market segments
Job Requirement
Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine, Offshore, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or its equivalent
Min. 2 years of relevant experience in similar capacity and industry
Sound technical knowledge for the relevant trades
Resourceful, responsible, good negotiation skill and interpersonal skills, committed, team player, customer oriented
Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
Able to perform overtime during weekdays, weekends and Public Holiday as and when required
Willing to travel overseas to Client's Office as and when required
