Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

· Preparation of tender submission and ensuring that tender submission is in order

· Preparation and following up on progress claims, progress certification, variation orders and settlement of final account with main-contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers.

· Maintain records, tracking and submission of all variation orders

· Sourcing, negotiation and evaluation of quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers through preparation of price comparison

· Prepare Works Order/Letter of Award to sub-contractors and suppliers

· Able to work closely with whole tender team and carry out management’s direction

· Attend meetings/site meetings

· To carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs

· To assist in site materials ordering

· Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Job requirement:

· Able to work independent

· Good communication and negotiation skills

· Pro-active, a good team player and able to work well under pressure

· Candidate much possess Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Building

· Minimum 4-5 years of working experience in Singapore construction industry
