Job Description
Handling the entire procurement cycle including sourcing, negotiation, price comparison, issuance of PO and GRN.
Manage purchase orders including tracking deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods.
Negotiate contract, payment terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
Constantly review price and source for new suppliers to ensure price competitiveness.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives and production needs.
Review specifications and ensure materials ordered meet the production requirements and require Mill Certs / test report when necessary.
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation for payment processing.
Any other relevant duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Diploma in business administration / supply chain management / engineering or equivalent
At least 2 year(s) of procurement role preferably in manufacturing industry
Fresh grades are welcome to apply
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to communicate in English, Mandarin & Malay will be an added advantage
Prior sourcing experience in Malaysia preferred.
Able to work independently and Multitasking
