DRAFTER / DRAUGHTSMAN (SOLAR)

Job Description

Drafting and Design:

• Prepare detailed drawings and plans for the design and installation of solar facilities using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications

Collaboration:

• Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and design constraints
• Coordinate with other drafters and designers to ensure consistency and accuracy in project documentation

Technical Documentation:

• Maintain and update drawings and specifications throughout the project lifecycle
• Create and manage technical documentation

Requirements

• Nitec/ ITE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 2 years of relevant working experiences or 1-year Solar PV experience (Fresh graduate for Junior position is welcome to apply)
• Has knowledge in electrical design concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Autocad
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Ability to multi-task and manage deliverables for multiple projects at a time
• Willingness to conduct site visits and gather field data when necessary
