Job Description
This is a full time internship during the semester term (June 2025 to Dec 2025), with possibility of extension. Start dates can be further discussed.
As SimplyGood's Operations Intern, you will be expected to work closely with the executive team to manage inventory, procurement, and order fulfilment related matters, with the guidance of our Operations and Supply Chain Manager. Work Responsibilities
1. Procurement and supplier management
Research and identify potential suppliers for both finished goods and raw materials.
Negotiate directly, and secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Planning supply chain and inventory procurement
Collaborate cross-functionally with product & marketing team for new product launches, supply chain, manufacturing & procurement
Streamlining company's cost of goods sold (COGS) & manufacturing cost
2. Inventory Management
Focus primarily on demand planning and stock re-odering
Assist in analyzing historical sales data to forecast future product demand.
Develop demand forecasts that inform production and inventory decisions.
Monitor stock levels, and reorder to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Optimize reorder points and quantities for efficient inventory turnover.
3. Warehouse Management
Support warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage, organization, and handling of inventory.
maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Recruit and manage your own in-house fulfilment team
Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders
Identify and troubleshoot potential bottlenecks in the order fulfillment process
Ensure fulfilment of all customer orders and company operations (Ecommerce & Corporate orders) by coordinating packing & fulfilment
