Cargo - Snr Exec/Asst Mgr for First Mile (Upstream) or Last Mile E-Commerce Logistics Operations

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Parxl team to expand Parxl’s operations network to improve Parxl product service offerings and contribute to Parxl sales and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

First Mile / Upstream Operations Snr Executive/Asst Manager

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the first mile supply chain.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Oversee export documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations.
• Manage and optimize air freight rates / routes.
  
  

Last Mile Operations Snr Executive/Asst Manager

• Develop and execute last mile delivery strategies to meet customer expectations.
• Oversee delivery network operations, including zone / airport injection point planning.
• Oversee import customs clearance processes and compliance with import regulations.
• Manage returns and reverse logistics processes.
  
  

Day to Day Operations

• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and measurable metrics for the team and vendors/ partners to improve work efficiency.
• Analyse performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute and work with Parxl product and commercial team to improve operation efficiency and value to customers; (i.e. product solutioning)
• Provide resolution for any exceptions in the operation process; perform review on exceptions handling.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners.
• Manage and coach a team of associates in day-to-day operations and matters.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• Preferably at least 2 years of working experience specializing in E-commerce / Logistics / Supply chain or equivalent industry.
• IT savvy
• Self-starter and able to multi-task
• Able to respond quickly and effectively to the challenges faced in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinker with a practical approach to problem solving and process improvement.
• Positive energy and attitude.
• Team player and able to work effectively in a team
