Research Engineer - School of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering

To collaborate with enterprises on the development of innovation product, process or service in manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• To understand local enterprises gaps in the area of innovation and development and propose new methodology to engage them in collaborative efforts to work on innovation product, processes or services.
• To develop capabilities building in areas of product development, smart automation, software development, etc. To share on findings, lesson learn learnt to the team
• To liaise with agencies on administrative requirements for approval, or other administration as required.
• To work as co-supervisor for final year projects
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Computer Science or related areas of study
• Relevant skillsets/knowledge with more than 4 years of working experiences in the following areas:
• Software development using python, JavaScript or C
• Product development
• AI/Machine learning
• Smart automation
  
  
  

Successful candidate will be offered a project-based contract in the first instance.
