Accounts Assistant / Accounts Executive

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant/ Accounts Executive to join our finance team. In this role, you will provide essential support in day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes. Job Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting duties to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Match purchase orders with suppliers' invoices to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Accurately key suppliers’ invoices into the accounting software.
• Process and prepare payments to suppliers in a timely manner.
• Verify and process staff expense claims in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
• Reconcile collections received from customers.
• Support in maintaining accounting schedules and other ad-hoc tasks to facilitate the accounts closing.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Prior experience in using Xero is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (e.g., creating spreadsheets, using formulas).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Willingness to assist with ad-hoc duties as required.
