The Finance Specialist acts as a bridge between the data team and the finance teams (FP&A, Finance Business Partners). Focus on ensuring:
Accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Effective support for business partners and projects.
This role will help streamline finance operations, deliver actionable insights, and contribute to achieving strategic goals such as cost optimization and process efficiency.
About the Job:
Financial Analysis & Reporting Support
Assist FP&A : Work closely with FP&A teams to prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports.
Variance Analysis: Analyze actual vs budget/forecast data to identify trends, variances, and key drivers for revenue and costs.
Support Reporting Cycles : Help automate and streamline reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports.
Financial Data Management
Data Validation : Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and reconciled across systems (ERP, Workday Adaptive Planning).
Collaboration with Data Teams : Work alongside the data analyst, data engineer, and data scientist to validate data inputs and outputs for reporting accuracy.
Support Finance Dashboards : Help update and maintain dashboards for key financial KPIs (e.g., opex tracking, revenue performance).
Support Finance Business Partnering
Ad-Hoc Analysis : Support Finance Business Partners with data and analysis to aid decision-making (e.g., cost reduction opportunities, revenue growth analysis).
Insights Delivery : Provide clear and concise insights on financial performance for business stakeholders
Project Support for Finance Initiatives
Support Transformation Projects : Contribute to finance transformation implementations (e.g., AI-driven process enhancements, new data integrations).
Process Improvements : Identify inefficiencies in current financial processes and propose solutions to improve speed and accuracy.
Documentation : Document financial processes, key assumptions, and workflows for future reference.
Compliance & Governance
Financial Controls : Support the implementation of financial controls to ensure data governance, accuracy, and adherence to policies.
Audit Support : Assist in providing financial data and analysis for audits and other compliance reviews.
Who are we looking for:
University degree, major in Accounting or Finance
Relevant experience in FP&A, process improvement
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a degree of ambiguity
Good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Strong MS Office tools knowledge, Excel proficiency, SAP, Workday Adaptive Planning is considered a plus
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Positive, proactive and self-motivated personality
